Cocoa Beach PD Arrests Suspects For Armed Robbery

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Last night at approximately 2 a.m., Cocoa Beach Police officers met with two victims who reported being robbed at the beach end of 6th Street South in Cocoa Beach, according to the Cocoa Beach Police Department. (Map above)

Last night at approximately 2 a.m., Cocoa Beach Police officers met with two victims who reported being robbed at the beach end of 6th Street South in Cocoa Beach.

The victims told the police that they were attacked as they exited the beach by three subjects who had emerged from a nearby parked car. One of the subjects brandished a metal bar that was used as a weapon. The subjects fled in their vehicle after the attack but were quickly apprehended by responding officers.

Jason Bissett, 30, of Titusville, Lonna Cupac, 28, of Cocoa and a 17-year old of Cocoa Beach were arrested and charged with Armed Robbery, according to the Coca Beach Police Department.

Bissett and Cupac were transported to the Brevard County Detention Center and the minor was turned over to the Brevard County Juvenile Detention Center.
