Health First Hosts Special Evening For Family Caregivers

ABOVE VIDEO: Based on her personal commitment as a physician, educator and indefatigable champion for senior health and wellness in our community, Dr. Laird was recognized as a 2011 Space Coast Humanitarian, and now in 2013 the American Geriatric Society’s Geriatric Clinician of the Year.  She called her profession “absolutely the right fit” for her, and credits her parents as well as her team for all that she and the Aging Institute have accomplished.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Thursday, July 11 at 7 p.m. Health First Center for Family Caregivers, a service of Health First Aging Services, will host a special evening for working family caregivers.

Please join us for dessert, coffee and a Q&A with Health First Aging Services Medical Director Dr. Rosemary Laird.

The goal of “The Doctor Is In” is to assist people with questions, concerns and challenges involved with caring for loved ones while trying to balance work and family.

The event will be hosted at Health First Center for Family Caregivers, located at 3661 Babcock St. in Melbourne.
