General Admission ticket sales start Today

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Premium season tickets for Florida Tech’s inaugural 2013 football season at Palm Bay High School’s Pirate Stadium are sold out with nearly 1,300 tickets sold.

Over 1,000 single-game general admission seats will go on-sale Monday, Aug. 12 at 10 a.m. ET at FloridaTechSports.com, in person at the Clemente Center Box Office and by dialing 321-674-8032.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors ages 65 and above, FIT faculty and staff with school ID, children ages 5-16 and active duty military with ID.

Children under five years of age are free. Fans are encouraged to buy single-game tickets starting on Monday to guarantee a seat at a game and be part of the excitement of Panther Football.

Single-game general admission seats can be purchased for one game or all six of FIT’s home games at one time.

Remaining seats are located in Sections 1 and 2 on the Panthers’ side of the field. Sections 9 and 10 are on the west side of the stadium, behind the visiting team.

Sections 1 and 2 are located north of the 50-yard line and between the 10 and 30-yard lines. Section 9 is located on the 50-yard line. Section 10 is south of the 50-yard line and spans from inside the 30-yard line to just past the 40-yard line.

A section of seats has been set aside for visiting team fans in the west stands. These tickets, located in Section 8, can only be purchased in person and over the phone.

The Panthers’ schedule features some of the strongest competition in the country at the NCAA Division II level.

In their inaugural game on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. ET, they will play another first-year program, Stetson University from NCAA Division I-AA. Stetson previously played football from 1901-56. Less than 100 miles separates the institutions.
