BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Teachers, enjoy a night to mingle with other educators at the 17th annual Teacher Open House at Brevard Zoo from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5.

The open house allows educators the opportunity to plan great experiences for students as they kick off the school year and the chance to win great door prizes. (Brevard Zoo image)

The event will feature more than 20 exhibitors from throughout Central Florida that will talk and provide informational handouts and freebies for schools and the teachers’ classrooms.

The open house allows educators the opportunity to plan great experiences for students as they kick off the school year and the chance to win great door prizes.

Throughout the evening, teachers will enjoy dinner from Sonny’s Bar-B-Q and light refreshments provided by Brevard Zoo’s Education Department. Music will be provided by Timmy Vee Productions.

Exhibitors include King Center for the Performing Arts, Brevard County Solid Waste, Keep Brevard Beautiful, Foosaner Art Museum, Wonder Works, Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program and the Orlando Science Center.
