EFSC Titans Volleyball Takes On Broward Today

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College’s volleyball team seeks its first home court victory of the season on Tuesday as it hosts Florida College System Activities Association Southern Conference foe Broward College.

Admission is free for the 6 p.m. match at the Melbourne Campus gym.

Eastern Florida is 5-12 overall and 0-3 in conference. Broward is 0-3, having played only conference matches, and has yet to win a set.

Eastern Florida is coming off its second sweep of Johnson University, Florida, winning 25-19, 25-5 and 25-14 on Saturday in Kissimmee.

Broward last played on Thursday, losing 3-0 at home to Palm Beach State College.

MARIAH DAVIDS LEADS IN KILLS

Sophomore Taylor Gembecki has a team-high 262 assists while freshman Mckenzie Price has 139. Sophomore Alana Nielander, last week’s conference defensive player of the week, has 148 digs.

Statistically for Eastern Florida, freshman Mariah Davis leads in kills with 123 in 15 matches. Classmate Arianna Bethel has 97.
