Palm Bay Woman Crashes Going Wrong Way On I-95

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY – Augustina Brown, 75, of Palm Bay, was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of I-95 when she struck Scott Savedow, 34, of Sunrise, who was traveling south on I-95.  

An 89-year old man was killed this morning around 8 a.m. in a head-on collision on Viera Boulevard, east of the intersection of Murrell Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Augustina Brown, 75, of Palm Bay, was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of I-95 when she struck Scott Savedow, 34, of Sunrise, who was traveling south on I-95.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at about 12:05 today Brown entered I-95 traveling the wrong direction at Palm Bay Road. As she traveled southbound, the front of her car struck the front of Savedow’s vehicle.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the impact is considered to be minor and Troopers are asking that Brown be re-evaluated.

This crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
