BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The Pink Ribbon Walk and Port Fest is set for Saturday, October 5 in the Cove at Port Canaveral.

The Port Canaveral Association, a not-forprofit in Port Canaveral, Florida whose mission is to promote commercial family oriented development in Port Canaveral through special events and marketing, announces the “PORT CANAVERAL PINK RIBBON WALK & PORT FEST 2013.”

This is a unique event that is totally family oriented benefiting Space Coast Cancer Foundation.

A UNIQUE EVENT

aerial206“We expect crowds to exceed 1,000 so come out and enjoy a day full of family fun,” siad Diane Petrocelli, Port Canaveral Association Events Coordinator.

“You can spend the day and walk for a cause in the Pink Ribbon Walk, shop the local vendors, sample specialties from your favorite Port restaurants at the Flavor of the Port, participate in the infamous Bed & Bathtub Race and try your skills at the Peel & Eat Shrimp Eating Contest.

Activities will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Cove at Port Canaveral, on Glen Cheek Drive.

$20 DONATION PER WALKER

A $20 donation per walker is all it takes to be part of the Pink Ribbon Walk. This is a non-profit event benefiting Space Coast Cancer Foundation.

“The Walk route will take go through several waterfront properties and return to the Cove for the spectacular Port Fest,” said Petrocelli.
