Brevard County Fire Rescue TAKES two to hospital

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Traffic was snarled on I-95 as a result of a six vehicle pile-up in the northbound lanes near SR 520 at Mile Marker 200, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

FIRE-RESCUE-180Brevard County Fire Rescue transported two people to the hospital after the crash this afternoon about 2:15 p.m. that involved six vehicles – including two semi tractor trailers. Nine BCFR units responded and treated four patients. Two refused transport. One patient was extricated from a passenger vehicle.

Rescue crews secured the semi trailers, which came to a stop off the right side of the highway. Both trailers were empty of cargo.

Traffic is now flowing normally.
