Learning Adventure Comes To Brevard Zoo This Weekend

BREVARD COUNTY — Guests to Brevard Zoo will get a free and fun adventure at PNC Bank’s Mobile Learning Adventure (MLA) this weekend from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

The Mobile Learning Adventure will be in the south parking lot of Brevard Zoo from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (Oct. 5-6). The activities with the Mobile Learning Adventure are free and separate from general Zoo admission. You do not need to purchase Zoo admission to visit the Mobile Learning Adventure.

EVENT BEGAN IN 2004

The Mobile Learning Adventure is part of PNC Grow Up Great – a $350 million, multi-year initiative that began in 2004 to help children from birth to age 5 achieve success in school and life.

The Mobile Learning Adventure includes interactive kiosks and the “When I Grow Up” station, where kids dress up as different professionals and have their picture superimposed on an appropriate background.  In addition, parents can take home activity books and learning kits that demonstrate how to take everyday moments and turn them into learning opportunities.
