‘Operation Shred’ a Success in Melbourne

BREVARD COUNTY • Melbourne, FLORIDA — Brevard County Sheriff’s Office provided a free document shredding and identity theft information event in Melbourne. 

operation-shred-it-collage-facebook-300On Tuesday, October 8, 2013, Chief Steve Mimbs, Sheriff Wayne Ivey, and the Brevard County Crime Prevention Task Force hosted Operation Shred in the Melbourne area at the Melbourne Square Mall, located at 170 W. New Haven Avenue, Melbourne. The event included an Identity Theft Seminar presented by Sheriff Wayne Ivey.

The next Operation Shred Event will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, by Rockledge Police Chief Joseph LaSata, Chief Mark Klayman, Sheriff Wayne Ivey, and the Brevard County Crime Prevention Task Force at the  Church of Latter Day Saints, located at 1801 S. Fiske Boulevard. This event will include an Identity Theft Seminar. The shredding services are being generously sponsored by our corporate partner Mr. Marc Kaplan of Progressive Document Destruction.
