BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Women’s Center North and South Guilds will present a new fundraising event this evening, Friday, Oct. 18 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This spectacular new fundraiser “Dude Looks Like a Lady: Men Against Domestic Violence” will be held at Island Lincoln, Jaguar, Range Rover located at 1850 E. Merritt Island Causeway, Merritt Island 32952.
Sheriff Wayne Ivey will serve as Master of Ceremony while Brevard County’s finest made-over men transform into their favorite female celebrities and strut their stuff, in drag, during the cocktail party and fashion show.

Sheriff Wayne Ivey will serve as Master of Ceremony while Brevard County’s finest made-over men transform into their favorite female celebrities and strut their stuff, in drag, during the cocktail party and fashion show.
The Dudes include, Phil Archer, Esq.; Ross Clevens, M.D.; Ret. USAF Colonel Herman Cole; Robin Fisher; Eulan Middlebrooks; Stuart Miller, M.D.; Greg Pallone; Carlos Salup, M.D.; Scott Sorenson and Jimmy Stivers.
All funds raised will benefit the Women’s Center located at 1425 Aurora Road, Melbourne 32935. Co-chairs for the event are Jackie Barker, Dani Clevens and Rachel Terry.
Domestic violence affects one in every four women, and over 100 children are abused every hour.
The Women’s Center in Brevard serves over 10,000 women and children annually.
The agency’s goal is to empower women by providing counseling services, financial assistance, career guidance, transitional housing and victim advocacy.
Services are designed to target the cause of the crisis, not just the symptoms.
