Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Pineda Causeway

CRASH REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — A motorcyclist died on Pineda Causeway around 1 a.m. Thursday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Florida Highway Patrol has yet to release the driver’s name as they attempt to reach the next of kin. According to FHP, the driver, who is listed as a resident of Clinton, Miss, failed to negotiate a curve and drove off the roadway.
The motorcyclist crashed into a barrier wall and the driver was thrown from the motorcycle and struck a guardrail.
This crash remains under investigation.
