Holiday Events At Brevard Zoo This December

All activities are free with Zoo admission.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Holiday cheer abounds at Brevard Zoo during Holiday Happenings from Dec. 20 through 22.
Bring the whole family to see the Zoo give gifts (animal enrichment) to the animals between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There also will be visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 20 and Dec. 22. The visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 21.
At noon on Tuesday, Dec. 31, join the Zoo in ringing in 2014 with its youth Noon Year’s Eve Celebration where kids can count down the hours until 2014 with games and a juice toast.
HOLIDAY AND WINTER BREAK EDUCATION PROGRAMS
There also are many education programs in December; participants have to register in advance.
Holiday Extravaganza Night Hike is set for Dec. 14 from 5 to 9 p.m.
Parents do you need time to get ready for the holidays? Kids can discover wildlife and explore habitats through games, crafts and animal encounters.
Hike is for ages 5 to 12. Cost is $24 for members; $27 for non-members.
WINTER BREAK ZOO CAMPS
Winter Break Zoo Camps are set for Dec. 23, 30 and Jan. 2, 3 and 6 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
School is out and Zoo camp is in. Spend the day discovering wildlife and habitats through games, crafts, animal encounters and more! Camp is for kindergarten through 6th grade. Cost is $45 for members; $50 for non-members.
New Year’s Eve Overnight is set for Dec. 31 from 6 p.m. to 10 a.m.
Ring in 2014 in the WILD at Brevard Zoo! Stay up until midnight meeting animals, playing games, hiking in the Zoo and much more!
Overnight is for ages 7 to 12. Cost is $55 for members; $65 for non-members.
