Vignette to Air During Halftime of Dec. 5 Jaguars vs. Texans Game

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Students and teachers at Roosevelt Elementary hosted NFL Network and two players from the Jacksonville Jaguars to record a special vignette.
Jacksonville Jaguars players Will Blackmon and Ryan Davis; mascot Jaxson DeVille and ROAR cheerleaders; Director of Player Development & Youth Football Marcus Pollard and the Dairy Council of Florida joined the filming .
The piece, which will air December 5 during halftime of the NFL Network’s national broadcast of the Jacksonville Jaguars game against the Houston Texans, will spotlight the school’s involvement in the Fuel Up to Play 60 program in partnership with the Jaguars.
Fuel Up to Play 60 is a national in-school health and wellness program that encourages youth to consume nutrient-rich foods (low-fat and fat-free dairy, fruits, vegetables and whole grains) and achieve 60 minutes of physical activity every day.
The program is sponsored by the National Football League and National Dairy Council in collaboration with the United States Department of Agriculture.
