Mary Hartjes, 74, Passed Away Nov. 30

OBITUARY
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Mary Lee Molden Hartjes passed away at home peacefully on Saturday, November 30, 2013 with her husband at her side.
Mary was born on September 15, 1939 in Winchester,Virginia. She was cared for by her daughter, Patti Padot, and the loving employees of Vitas Hospice for the last year of her life. Mary is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jerome “Jerry” Hartjes; her siblings, Lynn Baker and George Baker of Panama City, Florida, and Dennis Molden, Christopher “Kit” Molden and Mimi Molden of Winchester, Virginia. Mary is also survived by her four children, Kay Brickey of Alexandria,Virginia, Patti Padot , Michelle Raffii, and Lee Hartjes, all of Gainesville, Florida; nine grandchildren and one great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Hugh Molden, and her granddaughter, Amanda Leigh Padot.
Memorial services are at Ameri-Cana Resorts, Rockledge, Florida at 11 am, Saturday, December 7, 2013. Internment will take place at a later date at Bushnell National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to The Sebastian Ferraro Foundation.org in Gainesville, Florida. This foundation was established to promote the health of pediatric patients and to ultimately build a hospital designed and dedicated solely to the care of children.
