Eckhardt pronounced dead at crash scene

Authorities have identified the victim of a one-car crash that left one man dead and one man seriously injured in an accident on Fox Lake Road yesterday about 4 p.m.

The Titusville Police Department has identified the dead man as Richard Eckhardt, 51, of Titusville. Paul Nash, 52, also of Titusville, has been identified as the passenger who was airlifted to the hospital with critical injuries.

The investigation into this crash is ongoing and witnesses should call the Titusville Police Department at 321-264-7800.

One-Car Crash Kills 1, Injures 1 In Titusville

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – A one-car crash left one man dead and one man seriously injured in an accident on Fox Lake Road today about 4 p.m.

According to the Titusville Police Department, a Pontiac Firebird crashed into a set of trees, which resulted in severing off the rear portion of the car.

According to police, the driver, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the crash scene. The passenger was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries.

The investigation into this crash is ongoing and witnesses should call the Titusville Police Department at 321-264-7800.
