Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Driver in Sharpes

BREVARD COUNTY • SHARPES, FLORIDA — Phil Underwood, 34, of Cocoa was struck and killed by Kristin Sirp, 27, of Cocoa.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, Sirp was travelling northbound in her Volkswagen Jetta on Grissom Pkwy, just north of Camp Rd. Underwood was walking on the east side of Grissom, when the front right of Sirp’s car struck Underwood. Underwood’s exact location at the time of the crash is unknown and the crash remains under investigation.
