131 Million Expected to join in Cyber Monday

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — With 131 million Shoppers Expected to Take Advantage of Cyber Monday, some states may begin to see the benefit of the popular e-commerce event.
In Florida, Amazon.com’s construction of a distribution warehouse means that the leader in online retail will begin to charge a 6% sales tax. Any business that has a location in Florida collects sales tax through an online purchase.
Once Amazon opens Florida facilities, Amazon will collect the standard 6% sales tax from Florida shoppers.
