Fire Rescue Runs Emergency Vehicle Operators Course

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue and Four Communities Fire Department personnel learned safe driving as they ran the rescue and engine through the Emergency Vehicle Operators Course. 

BCFR-180-12The testing included courses for diminishing alley of cones, and forward and reverse serpentine with the apparatus. They also drove the tender, which weighs about 54,000 pounds, including 3,000 gallons of water.

The Four Communities Fire Department is a volunteer organization that partners with Brevard County Fire Rescue responding to incidents in north Brevard.
