BUSINESSES MUST BE PREPARED TO RESPOND TO CRISIS

When the unexpected happens in the workplace, the need to communicate is immediate.  A critical step in being prepared is having a crisis communications plan in place before the unexpected happens.

Businesses must be prepared to respond quickly, accurately and confidently as a situation unfolds–and in the days and weeks to follow.  Employees need a clear vision about what to do, where to go, and who is (and is not) responsible for communicating vital information to the press, in social media channels, and in public forums as a situation is unfolding.
