BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIA – The physicians and staff of Space Coast Cancer Center have announced the opening of their new satellite office in Melbourne, located at 1111 East Hibiscus Boulevard in Melbourne.

The office will help serve the patients that live in south Brevard who are referred to Space Coast Cancer Center for a consultation, as well as for follow up visits.

The Viera Cancer Center is approximately 20 minutes north and will continue to provide infusion services, radiation therapy, laboratory and clinical trial services.

Patients can schedule appointments in the Melbourne office with Dr. Ashish Dalal, Dr. Jorge Perez or Dr. Miguel Pelayo.

All three physicians are board certified medical oncologists and hematologists, and specialize in the treatment of cancer and blood disorders.

“Dr. Perez and Dr. Pelayo speak Spanish and look forward to serving the Hispanic patient population in Melbourne, Palm Bay and the surrounding area,”  said Dawn Faust.

Initially, the office will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays.

“Our new patient coordinator, Samantha, as well as our patient advocates, Tina and Debbie, will be happy to assist all new patients with their visit at Space Coast Cancer Center,” said Faust.

To make an appointment in the Melbourne office, or for any of the Space Coast Cancer Centers in Brevard County, call 1-855-894- HOPE (4673). In addition to the Melbourne office, facilities include the Titusville Cancer Center, Merritt Island Cancer Center and the Viera Cancer Center.
