Female Pedestrian Killed On SR 50 In Titusville

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – A female pedestrian was killed Tuesday night at about 8 p.m. on State Road 50, just easy of of I-95. (Map above)

BREAKING-NEWS-SCD-180-13According to authorities, the victim was attempting to cross the street and was struck by a car driven by 79-year-old Raymond Gunnink. 

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and has not yet been identified pending notification of next of kin. 

Gunnink was not injured and no charges have been filed. According to police, the initial investigation and witness testimony suggests it is likely the pedestrian was at fault in the crash.
