Her work in online learning began in 1999 and under her tutelage Eastern Florida’s online programs now have thousands of students enrolled.

In her new post, Cobb will lead the development and implementation of curriculum for 20 new Bachelor and Associate Degree programs in Business, Health Care and Information Technologies.

Cobb has received many honors during her career, including the 2013 Thomas E. Gamble Excellence in Education for Economic Development Award for her work in online studies.

The award is presented by the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast to educators who demonstrate dedication and innovation in their fields.

Cobb received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Stetson University in 1981 and a Law Degree from the Stetson College of Law in 1983.

The men’s soccer team went to the NJCAA National Championship Tournament in its first season in 2013, and the men’s basketball team has won back-to-back conference championships the past two seasons.

Carr has also overseen development of the new soccer complex on the Melbourne Campus, bringing the NJCAA Women’s National Soccer Championships to the college from 2012-18 and hosting the Florida High School championships for both girl’s and boy’s soccer in Febraury.

In his new role, Carr will manage all athletic programs, develop new or upgraded facilities for tennis, softball and baseball, and work to bring more major sporting events to the college.
