BREVARD COUNTY, COUNTY – On Saturday March 29, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a Warrant Reduction Day. The program will occur at the Moore Justice Center, 2825 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera. (Map above)

OPERATION-SWEEP-388This one day event is an opportunity for individuals with an outstanding Brevard County warrant, misdemeanor or felony, to voluntarily surrender, post bond and be quickly released without incarceration.

The program is designed to reduce the number of outstanding Brevard County arrest warrants while avoiding County Jail services.

This opportunity is being coordinated by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office with the support of the State Attorney’s Office and the Department of Corrections Office of Probation.

Personnel from each of the agencies will be on location along with Brevard County Bail Bonding businesses to ensure that all processing is completed as efficiently as possible.

bcso-star-180In order to be processed and released, the wanted individual must present a cashier’s check, money order, surety bond or cash in the amount of the warrant bond.

The cashier’s check or money order must be payable to the Brevard County Clerk of Court or left blank where on-scene staff can assure that all bonding documents are properly completed.
