BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA — The Titusville Police Department responded to a bomb threat at Target, located at 3055 Columbia Boulevard in Titusville this morning at 10:48 a.m. (See above map)

The Titusville Police Department responded to a bomb threat at Target, located at 3055 Columbia Boulevard in Titusville this morning at 10:48 a.m.

According to Titusville Police, the manager of the store received a telephone call from an individual indicating specific information about a bomb at this specific store.

The manager began evacuating the store and notified the Titusville Police Department.

Police officers arrived on scene and due to the specificity of the threat, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Bomb Squad was requested.

Representatives of the Bomb Squad arrived and suggested two or three other small businesses attached to the Target should also be evacuated.

The Target store was searched inside and out, but no device was located. Titusville Police Department is following up on possible leads in this case.
