Kailyn Ebb Signs On With Florida Tech Basketball

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech head coach John Reynolds announced the signing of Kailyn Ebb on Monday to a National Letter of Intent to join the Panthers this fall.

“She plays very hard,” Reynolds said. “We were recruiting for toughness, and she certainly fits the bill.”

Ebb is a 5-foot-9 inch forward originally from Accokeek, Maryland. She comes to the Panthers from St. John’s College High School in Washington D.C. Ebb was a two year member of the varsity basketball team, which was ranked No. 4 in the DC Metro Area by the Washington Post.

The St. John’s team won the 2014 Washington DC City Title Tournament, and she was selected to the 2014 DC State Athletic Association All-Star Team.

Ebb was also an All-Washington Catholic Athletic Association Honorable Mention as a senior, and was the MVP for the 2014 Tina Thompson “She Got Game” Classic.

As a junior, she was a member of the 2013 WCAC championship team, and a 2013 U.S. Junior Nationals Fall Finale All-Star Team selection.

Ebb also competed on the track & field team at St. John’s for three years, and played AAU Basketball for the Germantown Lady Panthers, the Alana Beard’s Future and the Fairfax Stars.
