Florida Tech Names Student-Athletes of the Week

novice four WINS bronze AT ROWING CHAMPIONSHIPS
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Florida Tech senior Andrew Bartlett and the women’s rowing novice four have been named Panther Student-Athletes of the Week for the period of April 14-20.
Bartlett hit with a .528 average over three games last weekend, as the Panthers took on Barry. The Ocala, Fla. native recorded four doubles to go with four RBIs over the series. He went 4-for-6 with two doubles, two runs scored, and an RBI in the opening game against the Bucs.
Bartlett ended the weekend with a .562 on-base percentage, and a .846 slugging percentage.
The novice four made up of freshman stroke Caitlyn Lightner, sophomore Tania Kilcullen, freshman Alexis Goodie, freshman bow Kayla Magee and freshman coxswain Jasmine Nacrur took home bronze at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships this past weekend.
The squad finished the race with a third place time of 8:34.80.
Bartlett and the Panther baseball team will return to action Tuesday night when they travel to face Saint Leo.
First pitch is set for 6 p.m. ET. The women’s rowing team will be back on the water this week at the SSC Championships in Sarasota, Fla. The SSC Championships begin at 9 a.m. Friday morning.
