In celebration of Earth Day

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard Zoo says, “Let’s show the earth some love and have a party!”

In honor of National Volunteer Week, we want to thank the hundreds of people who unselfishly give of their time to volunteer with us! Zoo volunteers can be seen daily, interacting with guests and sharing their knowledge and experience as they spread the Zoo’s mission of wildlife conservation through education and participation. There also are many volunteers who work behind-the-scenes cleaning the barns, preparing animal diets, working in the greenhouse and assisting with offsite educational programs. They show up in extreme heat, cold and rain because they are passionate about the Zoo, its animals and giving back to their community!
