BCFR: Apparent Shark Bite Victim Transported to Hospital

MELBOURNE BEACH — A shark attack was reported at 11:29 a.m. near Melbourne Beach on Thursday afternoon.
According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, a female patient was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center by ground with a wound to the leg from an apparent shark bite.
According to WKMG-ClickOrlando.com in Orlando, the 38-year-old female victim was bitten on the calf, but in good spirits.
