Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America Group Persuades Chipotle

DAI-Chipotle-l180One year after Starbucks told customers not to bring guns into its stores, Chipotle is following the suit of the popular coffee chain.

In a statement released yesterday, the company said that the display of firearms has created an environment that is potentially intimidating or uncomfortable for many of its customers. The announcement came after a petition was sent from a gun control group known as “Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America.”

Chipotle hasn’t confirmed if it has put an outright ban on guns in its restaurants.
