BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – More than 1,000 fans packed the house at the Space Coast Harley Davidson dealership in Palm Bay on Saturday for the “Bikers For Backpacks” fundraiser and first round of the Space Coast Harley-Davidson Summer Bikini Contest Series.

The competition was fierce, but Brevard County residents took home all the prizes in the Bikini Contest, a summer-long series set for each upcoming Saturday, and ending with the exciting Grand Finals on July 26.

Saturday’s winners included  Lianna Miller, first place; Nikki Carrol, scond place; and Justine Lowery, third place.

“This was a lot of fun and all the contestants, fans and organizers were wonderful – we had a blast,” said Miller.

“I want to thank Space Coast Harley for putting this contest on,” said Carrol, who wore a patriotic red, white and blue bikini, and received enthusiastic support from the troops in attendance. “God bless our troops,” said Carrol.

I had fun,” said Lowery. “This was a great event with lots of excitement and I’m looking forward to the Grand Finals.”

The Usual Suspects Band provided live music and Matt's On The Move Catering from Matt's Casbah restaurant provided food and beverages. Nash FM 102.7 radio personality Eric Deniero was the emcee for the contest.

Participating bikers donated either a new backpack containing schools supplies or $15.
