BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The 2014 Bi-Annual Brevard Republican Council of Clubs Picnic and Hob Nob will be held this Saturday, June 28, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the Melbourne Auditorium, located at 625 E. Hibiscus Boulevard.

The Brevard Republican Executive Committee Council will host the event, which will allow voters to engage with candidates at the local, state and federal level, as well as members of local Republican clubs.

BREC-180“Please bring your family and friends to meet and greet Republican elected officials and candidates, who will all have an opportunity to speak,” said the Brevard Republican Executive Committee announcement.

“This event gives voters the opportunity to meet and interact with the Republican candidates at every level in a casual, fun and relaxed environment.”

Lieutenant Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera will be attending, and Attorney General Pam Bondi, CFO Jeff Atwater and Commissioner of Agriculture Adam Putnam have been invited.

The event will feature guest speakers, entertainment by DJ Greg Bennett and dozens of exhibitors.

Admission is free, but there will be a charge of $5 for the barbecue.

GOVERNING ARM OF BREVARD REPUBLICAN PARTY

The Brevard Republican Executive Committee  is the governing arm of the Republican Party in Brevard County. It is composed of men and women who represent the precincts in the county.

Some of the goals and objectives of the BREC are to promote an informed electorate through political education; increase Republican voter registration; seek qualified candidates for local, county, state, and federal offices; and promote the election of all Republican candidates in the general elections.

The Brevard Council of Clubs is composed of the chairs and appointed representatives of the various Republican Clubs in Brevard County.
