Food Trucks, Fireworks Set For Palm Bay July 4 Celebration

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA — The City of Palm Bay Independence Day Celebration sponsored by Health First Health Plans & Insurance will be held on Friday, July 4 from 2-10 p.m. at the Palm Bay Campus of Eastern Florida State College.

Brevard County’s biggest and best Independence Day Celebration has something for all ages. For the first time the annual celebration will also feature the popular Food Truck Wars along with live musical favorites, Luna Pearl and GT Express.

“We’re excited to be back in Palm Bay,” says Liz Otts, president of Food Truck Crazy.

“It’s a great city and we’re happy to be a part of this huge celebration.”

Palm Bay Idol winners will be performing throughout the event and special activities for children in the Kid’s Zone will feature bounce houses, water slides, games and more.

Kids 12 and under are invited to bring their decorated bikes for the annual Kids’ Patriotic Bike Parade.

“The City of Palm Bay goes all out for Independence Day,” says Mayor William Capote.

“It’s really the best way to celebrate our Country’s independence in grand fashion, enjoying time with family and friends and being part of the biggest party in Brevard County.”

The grand finale fireworks display will take place at 9:15 p.m.
