Complex Will Feature Medical Offices, Diagnostic Center and 90-Bed Assisted Living Facility

BREVARD COUNTY • SUNTREE, FLORIDA – Site development is underway for Suntree Viera Professional Park, an all-in-one “medical city” planned on nearly 24 undeveloped acres at Wickham Road and Pineda Court.
When completed in late 2015, the complex will feature a 31,000-square-foot, two-story building that will become the new home of Suntree Internal Medicine, a 90-bed HUD-financed assisted living facility, a large diagnostic center and offices, project developer Eric Hardoon said.
Aesthetically pleasing amenities include a pavered entrance, a 6 ½-acre pond, fountains, oaks and a lighted, public jogging trail.

“It’s going to be very high end, high class,” Hardoon said. “It’s going to stand out. It’s not going to be a typical strip mall. There will definitely be an upscale South Florida look.”
Suntree Viera Professional Park is the brainchild of Hardoon’s father, Dr. Abe Hardoon, who purchased the property for development.
He opened Suntree Internal Medicine in 2002, then moved his practice to a larger location on Jordan Blass Drive in 2004. His other son, Scott, joined the practice several years ago.

Now Dr. Hardoon’s practice, which offers guaranteed wait times of 30 minutes or less, weekend hours and free onsite antibiotics to all patients regardless of health insurance, has outgrown itself once again.
The project is proceeding in three phases simultaneously, Eric Hardoon said. Groundbreaking on Suntree Internal Medicine is set for July 1, and the building should be completed by spring 2015.
Work on the assisted living facility and diagnostic center should be finished by late 2015, he said.

“Instead of coming for your doctor’s appointment, you can make a whole day out of your visit and take care of everything in one convenient location,” Dr. Hardoon said.
Suntree Internal Medicine is currently located at 903 Jordan Blass Drive in Suntree.
The facility is open seven days a week and offers a variety of medical services under one roof, including preventive care, physical exams, ultrasound, on-site blood tests, nuclear stress testing, glaucoma screening, immunizations and 72-hour glucose testing.
Hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
