BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Thomas Jamerson has accepted the Athletic Director position at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy.

Thomas Jamerson has accepted the Athletic Director position at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy. Mr. Jamerson comes with thirteen years of experience as an Athletic Director. His most recent position was at Charlotte Christian in Charlotte, NC. Prior to that, he was at Regents School in Austin, TX and Wheaton Academy in West Chicago, IL.

At Charlotte Christian, he led 50 interscholastic teams and supervised 80 coaches.  In addition to numerous conference titles, his school won four state championships and had more than 60 student-athletes sign letters of intent to complete at the collegiate level.

GRADUATE OF OHIO UNIVERSITY

Mr. Jamerson is a graduate of Ohio University, where he played four years of varsity basketball and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance. He is a Certified Athletic Administrator through the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association, where he has completed Leadership Training.  He served as President of the Charlotte Independent School Athletic Association for two terms (2009-2010, 2012-2013).

“Working in conjunction with Southern Teachers Agency, the Search Committee pursued an Athletic Director who could build upon our extremely successful program and take it to the next level,” says Christopher Hayes, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy’s Head of School.

“This is an exciting time for our athletes.”

With 87 percent of Upper School students participating in over 30 sports teams, Holy Trinity’s athletic department is robust and active. In recent years, the school has accumulated multiple state championships in Cross Country and Track & Field, multiple district championships and a regional championship in Volleyball, and district championships in Basketball, Golf, Soccer and Tennis.

During the last two years, the FHSAA has ranked Holy Trinity’s overall Athletic Department in the top ten throughout Florida when compared to similar size schools. Holy Trinity’s student athletes rank third in the Overall Academic Team Champions for Class 3A throughout the State.
