McDermott Withdraws From District 4 Commission Race

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Lisa McDermott of Melbourne has withdrawn her name as a candidate for the Brevard County Commission District 4 race.
According to the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections, McDermott officially withdrew as a candidate on June 12.
McDermott’s withdrawal comes one week after the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on her business, the Ice Cream Depot, on Wickham Rd. in Melbourne.
McDermott could not be reached for comment.
