Police Searching For Black Tulip Restaurant Vandals

UPDATE: Person Of Interest In Black Tulip Vandalism Case Dies
BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA — The Cocoa Police Department is searching for vandals suspected of vandalism and theft of Black Tulip restaurant’s catering van.
According to Cocoa Police Department’s public information officer Barbara Matthews, the vandals destroyed all wine bottles, mirrors and art inside the restaurants elegant interior.
Refrigerators and freezers were also unplugged, forcing the restaurant to dipose of all of the food.
Police are also in search of a catering van that was stolen. The van has a Florida license plate J72 3RV.
Founded in 1981, the Black Tulip is known throughout the local community as one of the most charitable restaurants in Brevard County.
