BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – In a vote of 4-1, the Brevard County Commission has authorized Attorney Scott Knox to file an Amicus Curiae brief with the Fifth District Court of Appeal, placing Brevard County government in favor of overturning the trial court decision by Judge Dean Moxley to open the Economic Development Commission records to the public.

Voting for the measure to file the brief on behalf of the Brevard County were Commissioners Andy Anderson, Mary Bolin, Robin Fisher and Chuck Nelson. Voting against the proposal was Trudy Infantini.
