BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA — Robert Lee Price, 25  was shot and killed in a driveway Wednesday night.

According to Cocoa Police’s public information officer Barbara Matthews, a car pulled into the driveway of a house located at 131 Aurora Street, near the intersection with Jackson Street in Cocoa.

One man exited the vehicle and fired several shots at Price as he stood in the driveway.  The shooter then got back into the vehicle and fled the area, heading west on Jackson Street.

CRIMELINE-200The victim was transported to Wuesthoff Hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.

The vehicle is described as a newer silver 4-door Toyota Camry or a Honda. Matthews said the shooting is not related to a murder on Burning Tree Avenue earlier in the afternoon.
