GAMES SET FOR FEBRUARY 2015
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College will be the site of the Florida High School Girls and Boys Soccer State Championships in February 2015, marking the second straight time the titles will be decided on the Melbourne Campus.
The girls championships in four classes will be decided Wednesday through Saturday, Feb. 4-7 and the boys titles in four classes will be decided Wednesday through Saturday, Feb. 11-14.
The matches will be played at EFSC’s state of the art facility at 3865 N. Wickham Road. Admission will be $9 per session with information on parking to be announced.
All games will be webcast live via BHSN Live on www.bhsn.com and the championship games will be carried live on Bright House Sports Network.
“We are excited to be hosting the state high school tournaments again,” said EFSC’s Associate Vice President of Athletics Jeff Carr.
“It would not be possible without the support of our President Dr. Jim Richey and the Board of Trustees.”
EFSC’s facility also will host the NJCAA Women’s Division I Soccer National Championship Tournament from Nov. 17-22 and will do so through 2016. That collegiate championship was held on the Melbourne campus last year as well, and the prior three years was hosted by EFSC but at the Melbourne Central Catholic High School facilities.
