Man Airlifted After Getting Trapped Under Tractor In Mims

MIMS, FLORIDA — A man in Mims was rescued after getting trapped underneath his tractor and a steel tank near Pennsylvania Ave in Mims.
According to Brevard County Fire Rescue’s public information officer Lee Nessel, a trauma alert was issued and the man, reportedly in his 50’s, was airlifted to Holmes Regional. Brevard County Sheriff’s Office reports that a call came in around 10:15 a.m., and the 58 year old male was lifting a large metal tank with a tractor when the tank rolled backwards pinning both his legs.
