ABOVE VIDEO: For the first time ever, the Brevard Symphony Orchestra performed symphonic masterpieces last year under Space Shuttle Atlantis at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. “The Symphonic Odyssey” featured numerous space-related and inspired arrangements.

The King Center is in its 27th year of providing the best in performing arts and entertainment along the Space Coast. The Eau Gallie Arts District is dedicated to promoting the arts and economic revitalization of the historic Eau Gallie downtown area.

Visitors will enjoy special performances throughout the day from their favorite arts groups, including two free family concerts featuring the Brevard Symphony Orchestra at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. You will also have a chance to learn about, and experience, the cultural arts along the Space Coast.

The Brevard Symphony Orchestra is Brevard’s premier professional orchestra which entertains and enriches individuals and communities by creating exceptional, live symphonic music. The Brevard Symphony Orchestra is the orchestra-in-residence at the King Center.

Area art groups will have displays in the King Center Rotunda, with entertainment performed by various artists in the Studio Theatre.

Throughout the day, guests can visit the Brevard Symphony Orchestra‘s hands-on activities area where they can meet the Brevard Symphony Orchestra conductor and musicians, plus under the instruction of the Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra members, both children and adults can try to play a variety of instruments at the ever-popular Musical Instrument Petting Zoo.

UNIQUE FOOD UNDER THE PINE

The Food Truck Bazaar will be on hand to kick off the day’s celebration.

A variety of unique trucks offering a wide range of different food styles will be located under the pines west of the King Center parking lot. Food trucks will begin serving at 12 p.m. and patrons are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the festivities in this fun-filled, tailgating atmosphere.

The Food Truck Bazaar is a large-scale traveling food truck event that travels from city to city in Central Florida. Creator and Producer of The Food Truck Bazaar is Mark Baratelli.
