Foundation to distribute 500 backpacks

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — GYM Life Foundation, Inc is hosting their second annual backpack drive Saturday, Aug. 9 at  the Grant Street Community Center in Melbourne from 12 – 3 p.m.

GYM Life Foundation, Inc is hosting their second annual backpack drive Saturday, Aug. 9 at Grant Street Community Center in Melbourne from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.

The GYM Life Foundation will be distributing 500 backpacks, which where purchase from money raised by Joe Cohen’s Elite Football Camp.

Joe Cohen, head of the Elite Football Camp, played his high school football at Palm Bay, college at the University of Florida and  pro ball with the 49ers and Lions. He was extremely excited about the positive energy and work he saw from campers as well as coaches.

These backpacks will also be filled with supplies that were donated from various openhanded people in the surrounding community.

The GYM Life Foundation is a family based group with plans to help change the community by changing the minds of the youth.
