Habitat For Humanity Gives Lafave Family Fresh Start

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA — Habitat for Humanity of Brevard County will dedicate a newly renovated home to the LaFave family on Saturday, Aug.16, at 10 a.m.

Bank of America donated the property to Habitat located at 1055 Colonnade Avenue SE inPalm Bay.

The LaFave family, and a team of volunteers from the community, renovated the property.

“I would like to express my sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers – all the ones I met and all the ones that I didn’t who worked on my home,” said Nancy Lafave.

“This just isn’t a house it is a safe environment for my children that they can call home. It is a fresh starting point that begins a new chapter in our lives.

“It has been a long process over that past few years where we have worked to get to this point. Knowing so many people were behind us and supporting us to make our dream come true. Businesses like Bank of America are taking action and assisting the community and families like mine, to make dreams come true. From the bottom of our hearts we thank Habitat and the numerous volunteers that put hours in to make dreams come true for our family,” 

Habitat for Humanity of Brevard County is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope.
