Port Exploration Tower To Host Legends of Space

With seven floors of exhibits and interactive play, Exploration Tower includes something for everyone. Visitors have access to indoor and outdoor observation decks, nearly 5,550 feet of exhibit space, an auditorium, a café, a gift shop and much more.
BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The Exploration Tower at Port Canaveral is partnering with the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation as the Exploration Tower hosts a series of VIP Astronaut events.
Additional events will take place every quarter and tickets can be pre-purchased at The Exploration Tower.
The inaugural event, set for Tuesday, Sept. 16, will include VIP viewing of Atlas V launch (scheduled for 5:44 p.m.) and special guest speaker Michael J. McCulley, pilot of the Shuttle Atlantis STS-34.
“People from around the country are invited to Central Florida’s newest attraction,” said Tara Ruch, Port Canaveral Exploration Tower Sales and Marketing Manager.
“Get a spectacular bird’s eye view of Port Canaveral and surrounding area from our observation deck at the Exploration Tower. Discover more about this unique part of Florida from seven floors of exhibits and interactive play.”
The new Exploration Tower at Port Canaveral officially opened November 4, 2013 as part of the Canaveral Port Authority’s celebration of their 60th anniversary.
