BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Space Coast Daily will be teaming with Steve Wilson and Orville Susong of the Friday Night Locker Room to provide weekly game coverage and live updates from the fields of Brevard County’s high school football teams.

Don’t miss the exciting play-by-play live stream of the Mike Erdman Nissan/Cadillac Friday Night Locker Room broadcasts of high school football on SpaceCoastDaily.com.

Now in their third decade of providing local sports coverage, the team has aired hundreds of high school football games, high school basketball games, little league baseball and softball games, Brevard County Manatees baseball, high school baseball and softball games – and many other events in and around Brevard County.

“For many years, the Friday Night Locker Room crew has covered sporting events in Brevard County like no one else – and has the expertise, talent and insight that has become a key component for sports fans on the Space Coast,” said SpaceCoastDaily.com digital and content editor Matt O’Hern.

Because of the popularity of prep football on the Space Coast, the Friday Night Locker Room expanded to two teams broadcasting two games each week. One team is made up of Orville Susong, Steve Wilson and Anthony Nachreiner.

The second team consists of Rick May, Jerry Durney and Mark May. Durney also calls the Florida Tech Panthers games with Dave Walkovic.

ERDMAN, WPIO MAKE BROADCASTS POSSIBLE

The radio broadcasts can be heard on WPIO 89.3 and WEJF 90.3 FM . The Friday Night Locker Room is supported by board operators, Scott Dunlap at the WPIO/WEJF studios.

Wilson praised Randy Henry, owner of WPIO/WEJF and Mike Erdman.

“Without the support of our title sponsor, Mike Erdman Nissan/Cadillac, we would not be able to do what we de each and every Friday night,” said Wilson.

“Mr. Erdman is a big supporter of youth sports and we sincerely appreciate everything he does for us.”

Both Steve Wilson and Orville Susong said they are thrilled to once again be teaming up with SpaceCoastDaily.com to reach an even greater audience.

“We are very excited about doing this and all of the possibilities going forward,” Wilson said. “We look forward to our continued partnership and everything it holds for local sports enthusiasts.”
