Steven Lillie Charged With Murder of Infant Daughter

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Steven Lillie, who was arrested on June 20 in connection with the death of his 9-month-old daughter who died in his pickup truck at 566 Barton Boulevard in Rockledge, has now been charged with third-degree murder. (See map above)

Lillie’s charges were upgraded Thursday, and he is now charged with third-degree felony murder, manslaughter and leaving a child unattended or unsupervised in a motor vehicle

Police originally arrested Lillie, 31, and charged him with aggravated manslaughter.

According to Rockledge Police Lt. Donna Seyferth, Lillie, of Cocoa forgot that the infant was strapped into her seat and left her in the vehicle for several hours while he was at work.
