Aaron Williams Named Webster University Space Coast/Merritt Island Director

Aaron Williams has been named the director of Webster University’s Space Coast/Merritt Island, Florida campus location region, effective Oct. 6.

Webster University has three campus locations along Florida’s Space Coast: Merritt Island, Melbourne and Patrick Air Force Base.

Williams will relocate to the Space Coast from the Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri campus location, where he served as regional director and campus director.

Previously, Williams was an adjunct professor for Webster at the home campus. He also has taught at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and at Tuskegee University in Alabama.

He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and Marine Corps, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel after 25 years of service.

“I am excited to work with Aaron as part of our Florida region team that is focused on enrollment growth and expanding the reach of Webster University throughout the east coast of central Florida,” said Nicolas Spina, regional director for the state of Florida.

Williams is a 2013 education doctoral candidate at the University of Missouri, holds an MBA from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, a bachelor of arts in Public Administration and bachelor of science in Liberal Studies, both from the University of Central Florida.
