Christine Michaels Resigns From Melbourne Chamber

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Christine Michaels, the president and CEO of the Melbourne Regional Chamber of East Central Florida, has resigned her position for personal reasons, according to a statement issued by the chamber.

Michaels’ resignation is effective immediately

Michaels joined the chamber in 2009.  As chamber president, she represented Melbourne’s business community by working with chamber members and other civic leaders to help facilitate economic development in our region.

“The chamber board wishes Michaels continued success in her future endeavors,” said the statement issued by the chamber.

In connection with Michaels’ resignation, the chamber board will commence a search process.  The search process will involve reaching out to state and regional chamber-related organizations as well as word of mouth throughout the local business community.

The Melbourne Regional Chamber of East Central Florida was established in 1925 and is a five-star accredited chamber from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.  The Chamber proudly serves the business communities of south Brevard County and East Central Florida.
