Lady Mustangs Golfers Remain Undefeatd

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Merritt Island High School girls golf team beat Edgewood 212-220 in their annual crosstown rival non-district match at Savannahs Golf Club on Tuesday.

The Lady Mustangs are undefeated with a record of (3-0, 1-0).

“It’s always fun when we play Edgewood,” said MIHS Coach Charles Parker.  “We have a friendly rivalry and some of the girls are friends – at least off the course!”

Gracie Dunn – 2012 Cape Coast Conference Champion – led all golfers with a 43.  Low Lady Indian was Torri Giles with a 44.

The Lady Mustangs rounded up their scoring as follows: Sabella Goodwin – 51, Tori Scabarozi – 55, Erica Mijon – 63.

The other Edgewood (0-1) scoring was Lauren Parker – 58, Emily Harris – 59, Mia Wilson – 59.
